WEATHER

Delaware has a moderate climate with average monthly temperatures that range from 32 degrees (F) in winter to 76 degrees in summer. Over half the days are sunny, and temperatures along the Atlantic coast are about 10 degrees warmer in summer and cooler in winter.

Commercial flights to Delaware will arrive in Baltimore, Washington, DC, or Philadelphia.

GETTING AROUND THE AREA

The best way to get around Delaware is by car. The two major highways here are I-95 in the northern part of the state and Route 1, the most popular route to the beaches.
